AFD SEPTEMBER 2016 EDITION

sept_2016_afd-theme_rlic-two-234x132Greetings:
Shalom & Kingdom greetings in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Amen! I gladly welcome all visitors and existing browsers in the into SEPTEMBER 2016. This month Achievers’ FAITH Digest is entitled: ENACTING YOUR REDEMPTIVE RIGHTS IN CHRIST! “Power. Riches. Wisdom. Strength. Honour. Glory. Blessing”.

September 2016, is the 9th of the Calender Months!  It reminds me of the Nine (9) Fruit of the Spirit for your Christian Faith character, behavioural and conduct enabling – (Galatians 5:22-25); It reminds me of the Nine (9) Spiritual gifts of the Spirit to enable one to function in ministerial & spiritual life demands – (1 Corinthians 12:7-11).  It thus means also a month of wholeness and completeness since nine means perfection in a sense – (1 Thessalonians 5:23; Hebrews 4:12-13).  Therefore, you have All it takes to make BE. SEPTEMBER2016 is the Month to ‘Enact Your REDEMPTIVE RIGHTS In Christ’ in ALL that pertain to LIFE and GODLINESS!  I am emboldened to announce to you, that it’s not enough to know your redemptive rights in Christ, until you ENACT, that is, cause them to BE into life reality SCRIPTURALLY. Make September your Scriptural Month to Enact your redemptive rights in Christ.

It’s my prayer and earnest desire that you will come to the place of ensuring that your redemption rights and privileges in Christ are never undermined, but actualised in all that pertains to you in doing life and enjoying a godly living. Hence there’s the need to crave for the knowledge and understanding that will enable you  ENACT YOUR REDEMPTIVE RIGHTS IN CHRIST over all things and to live dignified; more so, that you will eventually locate yourself in God’s plan, purpose and pursuit to achieve your desired set goals in life as you follow the path to dignity in POWER, RICHES, WISDOM, STRENGTH, HONOUR and BLESSING.

Revelation 5:9-12 “And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; 10 and hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth; 11 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; 12 saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to RECEIVE power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing“.

Revelation 1:5-6 “And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, and hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

John 1:12 “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name”.

Philemon 4-6 “I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers, hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints; that the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus“.

I do know that a man’s ignorance is his own mountain and the knowledge of the truth will set him free, because ones dominion, freedom and effectual faith in life is a product of ones knowledge as enacted in these scriptures – Daniel 11:3, John 8:32, Philemon 1:6 and Romans 6:14 . Hence I therefore commend you to take time to ponder and meditate on the theme through and through in prayers.

Acts 20:32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

Herein Are Further Scriptural Reading To This Month SEPTEMBER Theme:

1 Peter 2:5-10 “Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, and a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: 10 which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy“.

2 Corinthians 8:10-12 “And herein I give my advice: for this is expedient for you, who have begun before, not only to do, but also to be forward a year ago. 11 Now therefore perform the doing of it; that as there was a readiness to will, so there may be a performance also out of that which ye have. 12 For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not“.

Ephesians 1:3, 7 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ”.

Colossians 1:13-14  “Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14 in whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins . . . in whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace“.

1 Corinthians 1:30 “But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption“.

Galatians 3:13-14 “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith

Galatians 3:6-9 “Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham“.

Galatians 3:26-29 “For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise

Genesis 12:1-3 “Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: and I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: and I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed“.

Galatians 4:1-4 “Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; but is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father. Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world: but when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, to redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ

Further Scriptural Reading To This Theme:

I do know that a man’s ignorance is his own mountain and the knowledge of the truth will set him free. Hence I am leaving you with the undermentioned scriptures to read, to give you a line of food for thought as a way to indicate how the theme of the month will be approach. I therefore commend you to take time to ponder and meditate on them in prayers (Acts 20:32).

Genesis 12:1-3 Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: and I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: and I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Matthew 9:27-29 And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us. 28 And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. 29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. 30 And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it. 31 But they, when they were departed, spread abroad his fame in all that country.

Genesis 26:1-6, 12-14 And there was a famine in the land, beside the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went unto Abimelech king of the Philistines unto Gerar. And the Lord appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of: sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father; and I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws. And Isaac dwelt in Gerar: . . . Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him. 13 And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great: 14 for he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him.

Romans 4:17-25 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. 18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. 19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb: 20 he staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; 21 and being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. 22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. 23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; 24 but for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; 2who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

AFD APRIL & EASTER 2012 EDITION

Knowing And Feeding On The WORD

TOPIC:  KNOWING & FEEDING ON THE WORD OF GOD

TEXT: I John 5:7, 11; John 1:1-5; 17:3; Psalm 119: 1-22; Deut. 17:14-20; Revelation 5:9-10; 1:5-6; 1Peter 2:5, 9.

INTRODUCTION: The BIBLE, Which is the Word, the Will, the Testimony, the Covenant, The Testament of God, has been describe as the “Blessed Information Bringing Life Eternal”.  The Christian life is a race, a journey in which there are difficulties, trials, temptations and dangers on the way.  The psalmist said, “Blessed are the undefiled in the way, which walk in the law of the Lord” (Ps. 119:1).  The knowledge of the Word of God helps to keep us from all defilement’s, for it is “the lamp unto our feet and the light unto our path” (Ps. 119:105).  It is a mirror and it is the food that gives energy for the race (1 Pet. 1:23).  Ignorance of the word leads to starvation, to bondage, fear and careless living.  Through the word, we come to know God and obtain our salvation.  It is necessary for our daily living, for through it the quality of our life is improved.

This Word study calls us to know, learn and keep the word of God for our blessings, prosperity and success (Rev. 1:3, Joshua 1:8.) Lets arise in our hearts and graze on this scripture for our now, today and tomorrow.

ASPECTS OF THE WORD: The WORD has three parts to it:

  1. The LOGOS words, which is written word, i.e. the objective will of God – (Matthew. 4:4.)
  2. The RHEMA word, which is the revelation or living word, (i.e. the subjective will of God that creates – Gen. 1:3.) Sometimes called the prophetic or spoken word.  The Spirit Word of God. (John. 6:63)
  3. The INCARNATE Word, which is the word made flesh – JESUS – (John 1:14.)

In this study however, we shall concentrate on the Logos, the written or objective will of God.  However all the three parts are very important in order of operations: LOGOS – RHEMA – INCARNATE WORD.

DISCUSSION (Study Analysis):

  3. Hindrance to your prayer – 1 John 3:22.
  4. A victim due to erring on the scriptures – Matt. 22:29; Matt. 12:3, 19:4.
  5. Makes one walk in Ignorance – Jn. 20:9; Acts 13:27; 2Cor. 3:15.

CONCLUSION: Many Christians are living a beggarly life today because of their ignorance of the word.  They have failed to go into the scriptures to claim and enrich their life with the blessings of God.  Another great sin committed by believers today is their inability to believe completely the whole counsel of God as it is in the scriptures.  Do not interpret it to suit your selfishness but allow the word of God to speak to you and then only, you will reap God’s blessings in it.  For the Bible is a fortress often attacked but never failing.  Its wisdom is commanding and its logic convincing.  Salvation is its watchword; Eternal life it’s goal; It punctures all pretense. Trust it, love it, obey it and eternal life will be yours.

Food for thought: “Blessed is he that readeth, and they that heareth the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the times is at hand”. –Rev. 1:3 (Jam. 1:22-25, Jos. 1:8, Ps.1:1-3, Deut. 6:4-9; 11:8).

MEMORY VERSE: Psalm 119:11 “Thy Word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against thee”
